THE ILLUMINATUS

Last Saturday, we had our class. Drooled mouthful of saliva wearing my usual pambahay get-up:: shirt + pants + slippers.. =meconium stained face! I am a night person and I hate waking up early the most. Argh! 3hours of lecture about antibiotics.. blahblahblah. He talks that way so, I decided to jot it down. anyhooooo..(nevermind)

Ohmygod. I was not (and never will be) aware that I am not as presentable as I wanted to be. I forgot that I will be meeting with my suuuuuper loooooooong lost cousin. Kuya marshall, as the name suggests. For nineteen years of my existence, I was not able to see him in person. Ofcourse, I did hear a lot of kwentos from tatay susing and nanay lilia.. kuya marshall grew up here but then decided to enter US NAVY at the early age of 18.. yes, talking of independence. He`s now 32 y/o. living in San Diego, California with a loving wife and two kids (arianna and ira).. he was named MARSHALL because he was born on Martial law. The non-existent law of the marcoses. The chaos.

We went at the front desk of oakwood in ayala, makati and the receptionist has been nice on us. Room 506, ma`am. Yaaaaaay. Tremors came in. sweat runs dry. What`s next..
^dingdong^ I will be meeting him at last.
But el-jhey and I decided to play hide and seek with tita ollay and kuya marshall.
^dingdong^ ..again! and again..
Then, the door was opened by a man in his culduroy shorts and orange tinged sando. `WELCOOOOOME`, in a very masculine voice, the guy said.
And he`s wondering.. where the hell is katrina?
Tita ollay shouted: `kaye, labas`
Then, with a grin, I say `hi` from my usual desolation.
I hugged him.

We ate. We choked. We laughed. We talked (everything under the moonless sky of makati). I`ve learned soo many things from him. I, myself don`t honestly believe in ~the long-forgotten illuminati lair~ yeah, the word which is excruciatingly familiar in Dan Brown`s works. Creepy. He even have something as an evidence to this cult or symbolism or brotherhood whatever. The enlightened ones as Langdon says. His laptop had a sticker of the symbol, which makes it more intolerable. I thought he was a fan of fiction and a freakin weirdo rolled into one. But no, hindi. He`s just saying what he wanted to say (from his own opinion) and what he deliberately knows. Very well said kuya marshall. He went here in manila for a purpose. For 6months, he lived here alone.. (from subic to makati to cebu to makati to zambales.. then to makati again) leaving on a jet plane, huh? nakks! jetsetter. soo much privileges. that was not bad. but the fact that you wouldn`t be seeing or being with your family for half a year, thats something you shouldn`t be happy of. soo sad. Im pretty sure that he misses his family soo much.

I realized that I only met him once, and that was last Saturday. Its as if we`ve been together for the longest time. we kicked the fuckin roof of makati. Ika nga, pinasabog naming ang oakwood. One of the best persons I`ve ever met. Seeyou soon kuya marshall. The DA VINCI DECODED that you gave me will be treasured ..and I promised that I will read it. (as soon as I finish my works) lavet.

Call me princess. World is a vampire

I was called princess by several people. reasons? None! I don`t know why, literally. I duwana be named as such but maybe their instinct was a bit bigger than mine. Haha! But it is and will always be a pleasure to be called a PRINCESS.

First, Hmm.. at home, I was my lolo`s girl. But never a lola`s pet. (as a night person, my lola cannot tolerate the things I was doing.) so, my lolo was my kakampi and the mediator. My relatives used to call me princess because I was my lolo`s little princess. Lolo always tend to give me the things that I wanted. And my aunties, uncles, cousins (upto the farthest degree) knew this line by heart.. `awayin mo na ang lahat, wag lang si kaye.. patay ka sa lolo nyan` haha! Till now, they still drop that line. You would just see me smiling right back at them. Coz yes, its true. tawa lang!

Second, ..to be continued. <3

Princess.. am I?! Ewan. I wanted to be called an angel rather than a princess.

People nowadays are too shallow about their feelings. I am sooo preoccupied about the things that surround me. I`ve read a blog entry of a girl named ----. Otei, she belongs to a high class family. Meaning, rich girl.. good family (celebrity hierarchy) I don`t know if she considers herself as a celebrity.. but I don`t mull over her as one. and she had a superb educational background. But for me, she is insignificant. Oo, wala kang kwenta. Hindi ka karapat-dapat pagtuunan ng pansin.

I strongly oppose to her trashy behavior. pweh. Okai, she hates Filipinos because of rallies. `mga walang kwentang rally nga naman.. pa-rally rally pa, satsat ng satsat.. wala namang nangyayare puro perwisyo at trapik lang ang nadudulot` but miss X, do you really care? I mean, whats your point of nagging them along Batasan Hills? they wanted to be heard. (not by you of course , but those people in the higher levels with due respect). It was never their fault to be bloodthirsty or to be in the squatter`s area. Oo na, you`re rich and you can afford all the things you wanted and be an impulsive shopper. Kung sa bagay, you`re not affected pag tumataas ang bilihin.. e kasi mayaman ka diba? Wealthy. Be thankful coz you`re just riding inside your van with your personal driver. Buti ka nga, nakaupo lang.. samantalang yung ibang tao, naglalakad.. walang masakyan.. e ano pa kayang pwede mong masabi if you were a commuter.. baka sana nagpakamatay ka na dahil sa traffic. Clap clap. Oh shit, fuck you! .I. I thought you came from one of the best schools around metro manila? but I guess, mas daig ka pa ng mga skwaters sa ugali mo. Sagwa. sometimes, you have to think first before blurting out words that can affect other people`s lives. that so-called rally means a lot to them (hope you can realize that someday).. and they`re still hoping that society would be able to recognize them. For citizens who are most informed, democracy works as much as intended, while for those who are the most uninformed, democracy is a farce. but come to think of it., ordinary Filipinos, working individually or in small groups, do matter for the economic growth of the Philippines.

Am I right?

Argh! Just shut up. think first. Look around you and you`ll see that these Filipinos wanted to change our struggling country. May pag-asa pa sana eh, ikaw lang ang nag-do-down. So better yet, stop it.

We are all entitled to our own opinion and criticism. That`s your opinion? Well, this is my opinion. You wanna criticize them? I will disparage you. You wanna react with what im saying? Haaah. Okai, the political rights of free speech and association mean a little unless citizens have the intellectual and social capital to use them responsibly in their civil society and government.

I wanted to be a lawyer...weh!

all things lovely--are not they far away, far away?!
